2010 IN REVIEW | ENGAGEMENT | WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  AND  welcome to a series of images in review 2010.

This has really been an amazing year for us. We have met so many wonderful people and I have had a chance to share in some of the most important days of their lives.  Photographing couples in love is such a joy!   Not only do we get an opportunity to get to know one another in a more personal way, we have such a good time laughing and playing as the camera is snapping away.  I can’t express how much I cherish this time with them.  It is one of the highlights of my year!

I love everyone of these couples and so thankful to know them!

I was so hard to just pick one photo to share with you but here is a peek back in time.

Watch for future posts for weddings and seniors, coming soon!

Merry Christmas my friends!!  If you have come to visit here in the past few months you would have noticed that the blogging came to an abrupt halt!  So sorry for that!   I am blessed to have had a major growth spurt in the last few months and have been working hard to keep everything going smoothly.

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and encourage you to visit my FB page Beautiful Expressions Photography as I post new photos on a regular basis.  I hope to have more time to blog in the near future:)

Merry Christmas and many blessings are wished for you and your family!!

Haley’s Senior Portraits | VA HS Senior Photographer

Haley loves horses and has been riding for quite some time.  She really wanted to have her senior session at the farm where her  horses are kept.  Animals can be challenging to photograph and you must have a lot of patience but it is well worth it!  She really did an amazing job and I love all her cowgirl boots!  Here are just a few Sneak Peeks!  Haley, you rocked it girl!!

Hayley’s Sweet 16 | HS Senior Portrait Photographer

It was Hayley’s big birthday… Sweet 16!! Her Mother really wanted it not only be special but also memorable so she asked if I could take photos for them. I was delighted!! I met up with the limo at the train station. Out popped Hayley and 10 of her closest friends. They were a fun group and I am so glad I got to be a part of her special day and provide photos for her to remember this time for a lifetime.

Here are just a few:D

New lenses to add to our collection | Wedding Photographer

We are excited to announce that we have expanded our camera and lens collections to include a Nikon D3s as well as several new creative lenses!  This brings my personal collection to 3 camera bodies, 5 go-to lenses and a few extra for back up.

Since I am creative at heart, it is always fun to have something in hand that really performs well with the ability to capture events in a new and exciting way.

This photo and the one of my cat were taken with a Nikkor 105mm 2.8 micro lens.  I have also included a few shots taken buy our team at a recent wedding. I love the sharp imagery yet milky smooth backgrounds. These lenses do not disappoint!

Cheers,

Nancy
