IS A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER REALLY THAT IMPORTANT?
We all know how important relationships are. We strive to have good ones and when they are good we feel great and when they aren’t we feel terrible. Relationships are a big deal to me as I am very much a people person. I love meeting people, and finding out what we have in common and our unique differences. As a people person I get rejuvenated when I am around others. I like quiet time too but in smaller doses.
I heard a quote once that really pin pointed the reason why relationship is so important when it comes to photography and why it’s so important to us!

When you look at a photograph you want it to tell a story or make you feel an emotion. When you are being photographed and you feel some form of connection with the photographer you are more likely to let your personality come out and shine. These make the best photographs because you are letting yourself be uniquely you. If you are uncomfortable in front of the camera, having a photographer that engages you in conversation, silliness or laughter can really help you relax and have fun with it.
Remember, there are lots of great photographers out there and while it’s important to choose a style that you like, don’t forget the importance of making sure you choose a person that you really like as well!

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you will make. Not only do you want to select one with a style that you like, but one with the right personality too. Many don’t stop to think about how much time we will spend together. I am by your side practically all day, from getting ready, to the very end of your celebration. That’s why it’s so important to me to meet with you and begin to build our relationship. I want you to feel like you just hired a good friend to take your wedding pictures. (It’s a lot more fun that way too!) I am always so excited to hear all about how you two met and all your wedding plans, colors, and ideas. I love weddings!!! I even may have a few helpful suggestions as I am eager to assist you in anyway I can. My team and I are honest, friendly, hardworking, and fun loving, but serious about what we do. We are energetic, VERY artistic, detailed, personal, engaging and we strive to give you the most in the amount of time you give us. We want you to have images you love that will tell your beautiful love story for generations!
WEDDINGS … OUR APPROACH
You dedicate so much time into planning your special day, and when it comes, it feels like it’s over so fast! That’s why we have a unique approach that allows time for tender moments and silliness, if you so choose. This creates opportunities for amazing photos for you to love and to display in your designer art photo book ((!!!AND!!!!)) allows you to wear your dress LONGER!!!! YaY!!! That’s why we include a wedding romance session in every collection, as well as additional photographers.
WHY WE DON’T QUOTE PRICES OVER THE PHONE?
Our wedding collections range from $3,500 to 7,500 with everything in between – or more if you so choose! We want you to be able to custom build your perfect wedding just the way you want. It is also important to meet so you can actually see what comes in your collection, what the designer book looks like (a dream!) and if we are comfortable with each other. We’ve worked hard to bring tremendous value into our collections and truly seeing is believing! Besides, being personal is a big part of who we are and we don’t mind taking the time to meet with you while you are searching for your perfect match and we are searching for ours. It really is the best way to find out!
GETTING MARRIED AT A DESTINATION LOCATION ??
No Problem! We are all over destination weddings!! We don’t charge extra for them either. The only thing you will need to provide is transportation (airfare) and lodging for us ~ our extended family ~ pets and close friends … JK only for (2) of us

PORTRAIT SESSIONS
Portrait sessions (family, engagement, bridal, newborn and HS senior) are $375.00 with low print pricing. While we love doing all of them we specialize in engagement and HS Seniors. Young people and couples in love have a very special place in my heart and I love that we get a change to really be artsy with some of the photos. We offer unlimited time but it tends to end up being about about 2 to 3 hours. We also travel around to different locations within that time period. We do not charge a transportation fee and cover the DC/MD/VA area as well as VA beach and Cape Charles. We do have many options available, albums, posters, share cards, proof books, canvas and more.
