We have a creative flare with lots of variety. Lifestyle, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional / Posed.
What do your packages include?
A 13X9.5 gorgeous and artistic designer book with 40 pages and up to 100 images. Unlimited time. Wedding romance walks! Multiple photographers plus more!!
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Yes, we are very creative and artistic!
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes, every wedding is unique and we have shot often in low light situations.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital all the way baby!
How many photographers do you work with?
2 professional photographers and 1 assistant who also has a camera
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I can’t wait to shoot your wedding!! If there was an unforeseen emergency I have a professional already hired that can easily shoot the wedding with the assistant. We pray that never happens!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, we book a limited number of events each year. Quality not quantity is most important to us.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I generally carry 2 Nikon cameras on my shoulder – D300 and D700 ( I have 3 ), Lots of creative lenses, several speedlights, and plenty of supplies and props. Plus the 2nd professional photographer has all of his/her own equipment too!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I have a 3rd camera and back up everything!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We have a unique approach to weddings and do not have a time limit. We want to provide you with the most amazing photos that last a life time and do not want to put a time limit on that.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We generally do not take breaks however, we do ask to be fed as we will be with you from very early to the end of the evening. We also ask that you seat us in the same room so we do not miss any shooting opportunities however, we are just as happy with a vendor meal which will help with the cost. Oh and we do like cake! Yum!
Do you charge for travel?
We do not charge for travel in the DC, VA or MD area. Destination weddings to require airfare and lodging.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We try to have them up within 2 weeks and often sooner. We usually can’t wait either and will invite you to our FB page and blog to see a few sneak peeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
on-line and now proofs can be purchased separately for weddings only.
How long can the client view the proofs?
Proofs are generally up for viewing for 3 months but that can be extended if necessary.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We give print rights when DVDs are given and they are full resolution images.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, we may use your beautiful self for our website, blog or to win an award in a photography contest!
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are included in some of our collections and whenever you order a print we also will put that on a DVD for you.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
OH MY GOSH!! We offer the most amazingly beautiful albums I have ever seen. As an artist these really turned my head and we are sooooo excited to have them!! They are made in Italy and exquisite! A must see to appreciate!
When will the client get the final album?
It really depends on how quickly we get the favorite pics from the bride and groom. Generally 6 to 12 months as we hand design each one personally! We will be in contact with you so you are aware of what’s going on or what we still might need from you.
